The Nextone Stage by BOSS is a versatile, 40-watt guitar amplifier combo with four analogue Class A/B power amp circuits giving you four legendary American and British guitar sounds. Via the power amp select knob, you can easily switch between classic American 6L6 and 6V6 tube emulations or vintage British EL34 and EL84 sounds. The Nextone Stage also has a power control knob which means you can select 20 watts or even 0.5 watts as required.

Nextone Stage: Tube Logic Tone and built-in effects

There are clean and overdrive channels on board and you can instantly add extra sparkle or crunch to your sound using the tone and boost buttons, respectively. Thanks to the Tube Tone technology, you can enjoy the same great power amp tube sounds at different volume levels. There are also built-in delay, reverb and tremolo effects on board. If you wish there was a way to customise certain settings even more, you're in luck! Simply connect the Nextone Stage to a computer via USB and you can use the Nextone Editor software. The amp also has an FX loop so that you can add external effects and you can also connect external pedals.

Nextone Editor and footswitch outputs

You can accurately adjust various settings including the EQ and things like the bias and sag via the Nextone Editor. This makes the amp extremely versatile meaning it can be used almost anywhere for anything. There are two footswitch sockets that make it easy to control certain settings while you're playing and there are 8 and 16 ohm speaker outputs too. The line out can be used for recording purposes, for instance, and there are speaker and microphone emulations with three Air Feel mic’d cab settings. When you want to practise without disturbing others, simply plug in a set of headphones.
